Some people wear their emotions on their sleeves.  Others, like myself, wear their passions on their wrists.  I’m referring to the cute little bicycle charm I received for Valentines Day!

I had a local jeweler sodder it onto my Tiffany charm bracelet, and I have since been wearing it on a daily basis.  When I look down at my wrist, it amuses me that the charm, in the shape of a “normal” diamond frame bicycle, does not resemble either of my two primary bicycles.

Belle, the bike I usually ride around Atlanta, is a mixte, with a downward sloping top-tube.

Clarice is a folding bicycle with a single mid-tube connecting the front and the rear–a stark contrast from the typical diamond frame.

Unlike my usual inclination to name every bicycle that comes into my possession, I will not be christening this charm.  I will however say that, since I wear this bracelet every day, no matter where I am in the world, I will never be without a bicycle!
