The dude and I didn’t get to spend Valentine’s day together on Valentine’s day, as I am back in Arizona for work.  For that reason, we decided to celebrate last weekend, at which point he surprised me with this Valentine’s day gift.

It wasn’t just any valentine’s day gift… It’s was a velo-valentine.

A lovely silver bicycle shaped charm for my Tiffany charm bracelet!

To give you a little history about this bracelet, he gifted it to me soon after our wedding in 2010.  I requested that, each year, on our anniversary, that he add a charm to the bracelet–something that reminds us of a significant event over the past year.

Well, it looks like this year’s charm came three months early!  Given that both of my bicycles, Belle and Clarice, recently came into my life, and that I started a bicycle-themed blog circa 2011-2012, this charm seems all-too-appropriate to remind us of the past 12 months.

I think that it is going to be a great addition to the bracelet.  I cannot wait to have it welded on!
